Area High Schools

Strive to Excel at Hilton Head and Bluffton High Schools:

With nearly 120 active members at each high school.  The Strive to Excel members are exposed to a variety of educational opportunities to enrich their academic stability.

These opportunities include:

College Tours – field trips to in-state and out-of-state educational institutions, providing exposure and creating excitement for future goals and plans.

Educational Speaker Series – taking advantage of our wealth of community resources to interact and teach our youth.

Mentoring sessions – weekly mentoring sessions with qualified adult mentors who enable and focus on small group interaction in a positive learning environment.

Community Outreach/Volunteer – teaching our students/members the need and responsibility to “give back” to their community.  Our members participate in Special Olympics events, as well as, community fundraising events.

Strive to Excel is also active at Hilton Head Island and H.E. McCracken Middle Schools.
