BS2E: Strive to Excel

With the current statistics of drop out rates among our African American males, Strive to Excel felt it was critical to make a change.  On average, boys are doing worse in the classroom than they were 10 years ago.  Strive to Excel wants to change these statistics and guide them on the path to becoming responsible, caring young men.

These students are exposed to community leaders through Strive to Excel’s educational speaker series and mentoring programs.  They are also going on college tours and various field trips.

This program is for African American males at Hilton Head Island High School.
